DoH - DNS over HTTPS

Our encrypted public DNS service uses DNS over HTTPS - DoH. This protocol protects your DNS queries from being snooped on by third parties by encrypting these queries between your device and our DNS servers.
Hosterra's encrypted public DNS service is free for all. Our servers keep no logs and their statistics are public.

To use Hosterra DoH, select the desired filtering level in the list below. You can now configure your operating-system or browser with this information. For Apple devices (MacOS, iPadOS, iOS, tvOS), just download and install the corresponding profile.

When we receive your encrypted DNS request, we forward it encrypted to one of our carefully selected resolution services. The service chosen at the time of transfer is the one best able to respond quickly under the defined encryption conditions. This ensures that you always get a fast, secure response.

Although this service is very efficient for normal use, it may not be suitable if you want to connect a large number of devices.
